The Shilo Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Canadian Armed Forces members and their families posted to CFB Shilo. The MFRC provides programs, services, and resources that strengthen military family well-being, promote connection, and support families in navigating the unique challenges of military life.
With a focus on community, resilience, and support, we offer a wide range of services, including programs for all ages (from toddler to adult), deployment support, mental health and wellness resources, newcomer assistance, childcare services, and community events. Our staff and volunteers work together to create a welcoming environment where families can access information, build relationships, and feel supported throughout their military journey.
We support the 3 Can Div TC C Coy (3rd Canadian Division Task Company), 3 CDSG SS DET SHILO (3rd Canadian Division Support Group)
Understanding the uniqueness of the military lifestyle, the Shilo Military Family Resource Centre fosters a sense of community where individuals and families can grow and belong.
Empowering confidence, capability, and resilience within a supportive Canadian Armed Forces community.
Shilo is home to the First Regiment Royal Canadian Horse Artillery (1 RCHA) and the Second Battalion Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry (2 PPCLI).
