About Us

Shaunavon Wellness & Leisure is dedicated to fostering an active, connected community by offering diverse programming and maintaining vibrant recreation spaces throughout the year. Our main recreation hub centres around a state-of-the-art rink complex, the Wickenheiser Centre, which features an NHL-sized skating rink, 4-sheet curling rink, lounges, and a concession. Our facilities also include the Jubilee Recreation Area which includes the SWT outdoor pool, splash park, ball diamonds, playground, skate park, pickleball and tennis courts, and the Braydon Coburn outdoor rink; a 9-hole disc golf course, Trans Canada Trail, and various parks and greenspaces throughout town.

We proudly offer programs for youth, adults, and seniors, and work in partnership with local organizations, clubs, and community groups to expand opportunities and create meaningful experiences. Together, we support active living, connection, and a strong community spirit in Shaunavon.
