.Community Facilities Available for Everyone

The EMCS Society is proud to support the Sooke community by coordinating evening and weekend access to gyms, classrooms, sports fields, and other facilities owned by School District #62.

Whether you’re planning a community meeting, recreational activity, sports program, workshop, or special event, a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces are available to meet your needs.

Facilities are available for public use on weekdays from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with select facilities also available throughout the day on weekends.

Insurance Requirement: All facility renters must provide $5 million in liability insurance coverage, naming School District #62 (SD62) and the EMCS Society as additional insured parties. Proof of insurance must be received at least one week prior to your event. Facility access will not be granted until the required proof of insurance has been received.

Please note: Additional staffing fees may apply for facility use during both weekday and weekend bookings.

We welcome community groups, organizations, and individuals to make use of these spaces and help keep our community active, connected, and engaged.
