City of Timmins Facility Rentals
The City of Timmins Facilities and Recreation Department manages various arenas and community centres, as well as the services they offer. Many of these facilities are home to community groups that contribute to the development of active lifestyles and community involvement.
Our facilities are also available to rent for professional and social gatherings including:
- Wedding receptions
- Birthday/Anniversary celebrations
- Trade shows, conferences, seminars, and meetings

Note: Rentals must be at least 1 hour (50 minutes ice time) or more in length

- Description: Six sheet curling club with a large lounge area during the winter months and six courts for pickle ball and badminton during the summer months

- Description: The Archie Dillon Sportsplex Pool is a 25m, 6 lane pool with a 12.5m diving tank, and a 30 person hot pool.
- Amenities: Observation gallery and electric saunas in both changerooms.

Additional Pool Rental Fees:
- Extra lifeguard is needed for more than 60 people.
- If the number of people are in between 61-100, one extra guard fee is added to the hourly rental fee.
- If numbers are in between 101-200, two extra guard fees are added to the hourly pool rental fee.
- If numbers are in between 201-300, three extra guard fees are added to the hourly pool rental fee.

Sportsplex Pool - Hall

Rink Locations: Mountjoy Arena & Roy Nicholson Park on Pine Street North (2 rinks)
*These rinks are not rentable, but are available to the public however are unsupervised.
Skateway Location: Hollinger Park on Brunet Road
The Hollinger Skateway is a well-lit, maintained skating loop through Hollinger Park. It is hosted by the Timmins Community Park Association (TCPA) in partnership with the City of Timmins. Facilities include skate rentals, heated trailer, and accessible sleighs.

*The skateway is not rentable but is available to the public however is unsupervised.
Cool off every summer at one of the City's community splash pads. Splash pads are unsupervised water play areas with a variety of fun and interactive water features and spray jets. Children must remain supervised at all times while visiting the splash pad.
Splash pads are seasonal and usually open late May or early June and close in September.
Located at Hollinger Park, the large splash pad features a rubberized, anti-slip pad and has nearby parking and picnic facilities.

The White Waterfront splash pad was rejuvenated in 2022 to feature a rubberized, anti-slip surface and mining theme. Parking, playground, and picnic facilities are nearby as well as the White Waterfront Beach, which is also unsupervised.

Facility Bookings & Requests
Facilities can be booked online however they require approval from our Service Timmins staff. By booking online you will secure your requested time and location, and within 1-2 business days a Service Timmins agent will contact you to confirm event details, provide rental fees and take payment.
Payments
Once you have been contacted be the Service Timmins agent and confirmed your event details full payment will be required in order to secure the rental. Payments can be made by cash, cheque, debit or credit. Depending on the type of event a $1000 damage deposit may be required. The Service Timmins agent will advise if it is required and any additional details.
Insurance Requirements
Depending on the facility being rented and the event details insurance in the amount of $5 million dollars, naming the City of Timmins as additional insure may be required. The Service Timmins agent will advise if your event requires the proof of additional insurance.
