City of St. Thomas Recreation Refund Procedure

The following procedure outlines eligibility for refunds, transfers, weather-related cancellations, and mechanical related cancellations. Drop-in programs and multiple admission passes are not covered by this procedure:

General Refunds

To be eligible for a refund, cancellation requests must be submitted at least five (5) business days prior to the start of the program.

A non-refundable cancellation fee of $14.33 will be applied to all eligible refunds.

No refunds will be issued for cancellation requests made within five (5) business days of the program start date or once the program has begun.

In the case of illness or injury, a full refund will be provided with a valid medical note, regardless of timing. The cancellation fee will be waived in this instance.

Participants who register after the program has started will be pro-rated for the remaining classes.

No refunds or make-up classes are given for classes or programs that you miss.

Program Transfers

No fee will be charged for transferring between programs, provided the transfer is requested prior to the second class.

Program Cancellations (Indoor Programs)

The City of St Thomas reserves the right to cancel any class or program due to unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel a program, a replacement class will be scheduled to make up for the missed session. If we are not able to add a makeup class, a credit will be put on your account for the missed class to use for future program.

*Note: This does not apply to any programs at Jaycee's pool

Weather-Related/Pool Cancellations (Aquatics & Outdoor Programs)
