Chedabucto Lifestyle Complex

The Chedabucto Lifestyle Complex, located at 60 Green Street, Guysborough, houses the Chedabucto Fitness Center, community meeting/event space, Recreation Department office space, an elementary-sized gymnasium that can easily be converted into community space for weddings, etc., and community offices.

You can book the Indoor Spaces year round. This Includes the Multipurpose Room (gym), Community Meeting Room, and Kitchen. Examples of events held in those spaces include birthday parties, first aid, community or business meetings, weddings and more. 

The Shinny Rink is available to book with ice during the months of January and February. It can be booked without ice the remainder of the year. 

The Steve Smithi Soccer field can be booked during the Spring, Summer and Fall for any suitable activity. 

To view a virtual walk through of the entire complex, click here   Canso & Area Arena   The Canso Arena is located at 103 Queen Street, Canso. It has a full sized skating surface and a Warm Room available for rental. The Ice Surface is available from mid- October to mid- March for ice rentals. It is also available the remainder of the year for rental without the ice.    Chedabucto and Canso Outdoor Pools   The outdoor pools are available to rent hourly during the months of July and August.
