Facility Rentals

The Malahide Community Place provides everything you need for your large or small event. From community recreation to banquet space, it has it all. The facility consists of various-sized community rooms that can be configured to accommodate events ranging from 15 to 250 people. Additional amenities include a spacious catering kitchen, a meeting room for up to 14 people, the Gary Barat Pavilion, and the Springfield Public Library. The property also features three clay ball diamonds (two lighted), a playground, and a paved walking path for family enjoyment.

The South Dorchester Community Hall features a community hall with seating for up to 60 people and a fully equipped catering kitchen, along with ample on-site parking. Behind the facility is an open green space with a walking track and playground equipment. The modern Fire Station includes a four-bay garage, training room, and office space.

The 2025 Facility Rates for community halls and amenities are listed as part of the User Fee By-law.
