CANCELLATION POLICY
(a) All cancelled ice rental times will revert to the Recreation and Facilities Department. for leasing purposes. SUBLETTING IS NOT PERMITTED BY ANY USER DURING THE WINTER ICE SEASON.
(b) All cancellations are subject to a cancellation fee of twenty five ($25) dollars for each scheduled ice slot as outline in Clauses 5 (e) and (f).
(c) Should the facility staff or the Recreation and Facilities Department assess that the facility is not suitable for use, and is not used, no fee will be charged.
(d) Special events require a minimum of 15 days' notice to cancel their event. Cancellations made with less than 15 days' notice will result in the default of a predetermined amount as specified in the rental agreement.
(e) Regular users with cancellations made forty-eight (48) hours or less before the start of the scheduled event will be responsible for the full rental price.
(f) Events cancelled between forty-eight (48) hours and seven (7) days prior to the event will be charged a twenty-five ($25.00) dollar   cancellation fee. There will be no cancellation fee for cancellations made seven (7) days prior to the scheduled ice time. No shows by regular users will be considered treated as a less than forty-eight (48) hour cancellation.
(g) Casual user cancellations received with less than seventy-two (72) will be responsible for the full rental cost.
(h) The Town of Fort Qu'Appelle has the right to request the use of the facility for its own purposes, provided the Town gives prior written   notice of its intention to use the facility, on a specific date, and that the purpose does not adversely impact the revenues and     expenses. Unpredictable, unexpected or extreme situations will be taken into consideration for the cancellation deadlines (i.e. weather),   however the cancellation fees sited in 5 (e) may be charged back to the user.
