Facility Bookings
The Carbonear Pool is a 6 lane, 25m pool with access to a dry sauna from the deck, along with an outdoor recreation complex consisting of a 400m track, 2 softball fields, 2 tennis courts, 2 ball hockey courts, a soccer/football field, a basketball court, and a skate park. At this time, only the Carbonear Pool is available for online bookings.

Facility Booking Requests
All facility rental requests from this website will be viewed by a staff member as soon as possible within our hours of operations (Monday – Friday 11:00am to 8:00pm, Saturdays 8:30am – 8:00pm, and Sundays 10:00am to 8:00pm). A person requesting a rental must be over the age of 18 and must agree to the facility rules and regulations. Rental requests are approved on a first come, first serve basis, therefore the date and time requested may no longer be available and we will contact you with the closest availability to your date requested.
Cost
The cost of a rental is determined based on the number of people expected for your party:
- $175.00 for up to 50 people
- $250.00 for 51 – 100 people
Insurance
As per the Town of Carbonear insurance policy, all renters of pool must carry liability insurance. To ensure all renters of swimming facility are protected, the Town of Carbonear has included a liability insurance fee as part of rental cost and submits your information to the insurance company.
Payment
There is a 50% non-refundable deposit required when booking. The balance must be paid in full 2 weeks before your rental date. We are currently able to take Debit VISA payments only. No credit cards or e-transfers.
