The Town of Diamond Valley is proud to provide a wide variety of facilities and recreation options to enhance active living and the well-being of our community. If you live here or are just visiting, it's easy to enjoy a variety of indoor or outdoor recreation opportunities.
Whether you are looking to book an ice rink in the winter, dry pad in the summer, enjoy a relaxing time at the municipal campground, celebrate your special day at our community hall, or enjoy a summer sky at one of our sports fields & diamonds, we have you covered.

HOW TO
The Diamond Valley Campground is centrally located near the pool, spray park, Sheep River, and downtown businesses, with easy day access to the wilds of Kananaskis. The Friendship Trailhead, a 3 km walking/biking path along HWY 22 that connects the historic Diamond Valley communities of Turner Valley and Black Diamond, is located in Millennium Park adjacent to the campground. There is always something to do and see while staying with us. The camping season is from May 1 - mid-October, depending on the weather. If you prefer not to use the online system, fill in the below form.
*Campground is closed as of October 2, for the 2023 camping season. Reservations can be made through the winter for next season*

COMMUNITY HALL
The Town of Diamond Valley manages the Flare 'n Derrick Community Hall, 
which offers a rustic and affordable space for hosting weddings, community events, workshops, markets and private banquets or meetings. To book the Flare 'n Derrick community centre until it is launched on the website, please visit our website, fill in the request for information form, you will be contacted. Or send your request for more information to bookings@diamondvalley.town.

SOCCER & BASEBALL
The Town of Diamond Valley has two soccer fields and 2 ball diamo
nds available for use and reservation by community groups and residents. Soccer fields are available at both Maplewood Park and behind the courthouse next to Dr. Lander Memorial Pool. The ball diamonds include Millennium Baseball Diamond, located behind the Flare n' Derrick next to Millennium Park and the BGC Field of Dreams, located along HWY 22 and the Sheep River connecting Diamond Valley.
