    Nipawin & District Living Forestry Museum

    The Department provides annual operations and capital funding and advisory assistance. Nipawin Public Library The Department was involved in the planning and construction of the new Wapiti Library facility, which is a shared library space within Central Park School. Also, the school/community facility houses the Cumberland Regional College and KidsFirst. The facility is located in Central Park.

    Outdoor Rinks

    The Department provides annual operating grants to two community associations for the operation of the outdoor arenas. These facilities are owned by the Town. Pinedale Outdoor Rink - Pine Avenue & 4 th  Street North East Pleasantview Outdoor Rink - 9 th  Avenue West & 5 th  Street West

    Programs

    The Department provides some direct programs such as summer youth programs, clinics, workshops, etc. Often, these are done in partnership with other organizations. The Town is blessed with many volunteer community sport, culture and recreation organizations which deliver services. Some of these programs include the Steve Nash Basketball program for Grades 3-6, Pitch In Day, Outpour Weekend, and the Summer Play Program, etc.
