Facility Rentals
The Township of Asphodel-Norwood has a variety of beautiful, well maintained and accessible indoor and outdoor facilities available for rent to our residents and visitors. For a list of our spaces and more information on which space is right for your next event, please see further details below:
The Norwood Community Centre is located at 88 Alma Street, Norwood and includes the following rentable spaces:
- Ice Surface & Arena Floor
- 404 fixed seats

- Warm viewing area

- Heated stands for events as required
- Mini rink in upper stands for little ones to play mini sticks
- Full concession service provided for events
- 5 full sized dressing rooms

- Tables and chairs can be set up to your preference
- Seating for 160 when using round tables - 20 round table (5' diameter), 8 persons per table

The Norwood Town Hall is located at 2357 County Road 45, Norwood and includes the following rentable spaces:
- Norwood Town Hall
- Main room 50' x 27'
- Stage 48' x 17'
- Side Room 25' x 27'
- Tables and chairs can be set up to your preference
- 24-8 ft tables, 8 persons per table
- 2-4 ft rectangular tables
- 185 chairs
- Air conditioned
- Bar service available from the Norwood Lions Club
- The maximum occupancy for an event using tables and chairs is 286 persons

Payments
Current methods of payment are Cash, Cheque or Debit. We are currently working on getting online payments set up. Payment is required within 72 hours of our Rentals teams approving your request unless otherwise agreed to by the renter and the Community Centre staff. Should you have any questions, please contact our team.
Cancellations & Refunds
To cancel a facility booking you must provide a written notice to rental@antownship.ca a minimum of 7 days prior to the date(s) affected, otherwise full costs will apply. Community Centre, Parks & Facilities staff reserves the right to cancel a facility rental agreement and close any function for failure to observe all conditions of the rental, and/or retain full or portions of the deposit.
