Enrichment Programs at Kanata Montessori

Summer Camps:

Early Years: available to Kanata Montessori students only.

Kinder, Junior Elementary, and Senior Elementary Camps: available to the Public

Our summer camps will be open for registration to the public in March, 2024. We have theme camps for our Kinder, Junior Elementary camps. We have specialty camps for our Senior Elementary students. We are developing our programs as we forge new partnerships. For a more detailed description of camps check out  www.kanatacamps.com 

Extracurricular Programs: available to Kanata Montessori students only

Optional (paid) Extracurricular Programs are offered after school for Kanata Montessori Casa, Elementary and High School students. Programs vary each season. Examples of programs include drama, dance, music, art, various sports, and ski club. Field trips and special events include but are not limited to; MMUN, Drama Play, Odyssey and Leadership Camp. Extracurricular Programs are offered by internal staff or external instructors, and for the Main Campus start after Thanksgiving.

PD/Interview Day Programs: available to Kanata Montessori students only

Optional (paid) PD/Interview Day Programs are offered for Kanata Montessori Casa and Elementary School students when regular school is not in session on PD/Interview Days. Junior Casa students have the option of remaining on campus for crafts and play. Senior Casa and Elementary students have the option of attending various exciting field trips in the Ottawa community.

Extended Care: available to Kanata Montessori students only

Kanata Montessori Toddler, Casa, and Elementary students have the opportunity to participate in Extended Care from 8:00-9:00 am and 3:30-5:00 pm. Extended Care is designed to encourage students’ social and physical development. During this time, students may play together, do homework, or do art or crafts. Extended Care is supervised by teaching assistants who spend the school day with the students and are familiar with their needs. Extended Care is offered to Full Day students. School Day students who are interested can register on a monthly basis if space is available.

March Break Camps: available to Kanata Montessori students only

March Break Camp 2024 is for Casa and Elementary students, currently enrolled at Kanata Montessori. The Casa program features a variety of activities including crafts, games, stories, science experiments, and visitors. The elementary program features a week of art camp. This is a specialty program and there are no formal Montessori lessons.

To register in one of our programs you must have an active client account. Click here for instructions on how to create an account.
For parents enrolling children into programs please be sure to create a family account with yourself as the billing client and your children as family members.
 
HOW DO I REGISTER FOR A PROGRAM?
 
Click on a Subcategory within the Category on the left side of the page to view offered programs
 
Click the "Register Now" button to continue to the Participant Selection Screen. Select the participant name(s) from your account that you wish to enroll into the selected course. (If you have not added Group Members to your account then the Participant Selection Screen is not displayed.) If a "Register Now" button is not clickable, this Course is not currently available for internet registration or you have already added this Program to your "Shopping Cart" or you are already registered in this Course
 
Click the "Continue" button to add the course to your "Shopping Cart"
 
To register for additional courses, click on "Keep Shopping" button from the "Shopping Cart" screen or click the "Process Payment" button to proceed to the "Process Payment" screen to complete your registration purchase. Once you have successfully completed the payment transaction an Invoice will be displayed with complete details about the Program(s) registrations you have made
 
An email confirmation will be sent to the email address you provided in your account including a link to your registration receipt and our refund policy.
 
HOW DO I WITHDRAW FROM A COURSE?
 
To withdraw from a Course please contact us for assistance. Please refer to our Refund Policy for additional information.
