Welcome to the Department of Sport (DOS) Public Facility Access Module

If you are planning an upcoming event and would like to use one of our facilities you are in the right place!

This Public Access allows you to view the calendar to see the availability of all of our Sporting Facilities by district, complex, or by facility.

Once you have on the facility you would like to use, date and time you must complete the application form which should then be sent to sports@gov.ky.  However, please note that any matters relating to the Lions Pool must be sent to lionspool@gov.ky.

To have exclusive access to the facility that you have booked, you must present an approved facility application form to the security officer at the location specified on the form.  All terms and conditions of use must also be respected to continue gaining access to our facilities.

Application will not be processed via the phone.

The timeframe for the processing of an application is normally 3-5 business days at which time you will be notified of the status of their application. Ensure that all necessary information is provided before submitting the form which will prevent any delays in the processing of your application.

ACCEPTED FORM OF PAYMENT- EFT- Electronic Funds Transfer via online Banking.

Some studies have shown that for every dollar that is invested towards physical activity a country saves more than three dollars in healthcare cost. Therefore, we encourage all residents to stay active by joining a local sports club, fitness group, a gym to gain some social and health benefits.
